"Between classy Hard FM and AOR, "The Greatest Wonder" doesn't reinvent the genre but nevertheless regroups a good number of hits with catchy and heady choruses."

The Greatest Wonder is the third opus of this Italian band that's in the AOR/FM. This band was born from the meeting between Steve Walsh singer of KANSAS and the transalpine keyboard/guitar/bass player Daniele Liverani from EMPTY TREMOR. Today, the American has left the ship and since 2005, Dennis Ward, singer and bassist of PINK CREAM 69, has succeeded him and the compositions come from the imagination of twin brothers Tom and James Martin from the band HOUSE OF LORDS.

Khymera offers us here classic Hard FM or AOR tracks. The formula is simple, sweet melodies, a six-string to make it harder, especially on soli, and a keyboard to soften it all, especially on ballads.  And to magnify the whole, you can count on Ward's sharp voice and Ermolli's obvious know-how to satisfy you, the latter playing it with flair at each of his interventions.

If It's true that you've heard these sounds or compositions dozens of times, the pleasure is there. Because apart from the useless intro, all the tracks have catchy choruses. Whether it is the rhythmic hits Beautiful Life, Fight for Yesterday, Love Will Find You, Borderline, Stay Forever, No Sacrifice and The Other Side, the mid-tempo hits Since You Went Away, Love Will Find You and The Greatest Wonder or the ballads that are Burn Out (then this one...), Love Has Been And Gone and If I Can't Be, everything is pleasant, classy, limpid and professional.

With the excellent WORK of ART at the beginning of this year, Khymera has struck very hard. Let's hope it doesn't stop there and regularly offers us opus of this quality, certainly classic but always effective.

A.O.R. - The band's very first album, "Bon Jovi" has not aged too much and remains a beautiful testimony of the beginnings of one of the legends of Hard Rock FM.

HARD ROCK - Led Zeppelin won't live more than ten years but the myth is born in 69 with this album.
