The musical genre in which Sunstorm evolves navigates from one opus to the other between muscular AOR and melodic FM hard rock, hesitation which leads the followers to debate the subject with each new release of the Americans. This one will not reconcile the listeners. The recipe remains the same as on "Afterlife", but with a big difference that makes the newcomer the best opus of the band.

This time, Del Vecchio really worked hard to produce breathtaking melodies. Three influences can be felt on this work which reminds the Rainbow of the 80's and Magnus Karlsson's and Jorn Lande's works. Romero is imperial: the Chilean is the frontman of the moment, and if Sunstorm succeeded here, it is especially thanks to his performances. He has no equal to insufflate grandiloquence and dramaturgy in all the titles he interprets with all the sincerity of which he is capable.

Magnified by the play of the new guitarist, Luca Pinciotta (Black Eye, Doro), the eleven tracks offered here to the fans are irreproachable. In the easy listening genre, it is difficult to do better. And the consistency in quality makes it particularly difficult to highlight one track rather than another.

Sunstorm has just made a big step towards the first division of melodic hard rock with this seriously catchy "Brother In Arms". Full of melodic emphasis and rhythmically energetic, it will easily convince the nostalgic of the last years of Rainbow.
