Queensrÿche has adapted to the times, and with "Empire" offers an album that is certainly less ambitious than its predecessor, but just as effective.

With a production and neat compositions, a sense of melody particularly effective and a lively and warm atmosphere that already characterizes Queensrÿche, "The Warning" remains a sure value of heavy metal.

"Promised Land" is a masterpiece from start to finish and remains to this day Queensrÿche's last great record, one of their best and certainly their most adventurous.
