This album is a compilation of unpublished or almost unpublished tracks, recorded in the studio in 86 and 89, for the first three or in public on a small English tour in 89 for the last four. The only exception was "Dans Le Parc...", sung by Peter Nicholls, which dates back to 1984 and appears in the album "The Wake".
For the studio part, the technical quality is poor and the compositions are among the flattest in IQ's production. Only "Dans Le Parc..." goes up the level. For the live part, the medley and "Common Ground" remind us that IQ is capable of great performance on stage, but the last two tracks, "Promises" and "Wurensh" are weak, more pop than prog and Paul Menel shows his vocal limits.
In other words, this record is not made for anyone who wants to discover IQ. Only a fan collector will find the attraction of rarity there thanks to the (almost) unpublished ones. - Official website
