"Klone offers with "High Blood Pressure" a progressive Death metal far from their recent atmospheric productions."

Klone may be a household name by now, but that wasn't the case when 'High Blood Pressure' came out. Yet it was already a forerunner on the French extreme metal scene in the same way as Gojira, and it sailed in waters far more tumultuous than the calmer waters of recent years.
Klone's music here is undoubtedly progressive, but in a Death Metal form that current fans of the band will be surprised to hear! From start to finish, the listener is transported by music that is both charming during the ultra-melodic choruses but also, as on the instrumental live track 'Narcomania' which closes this formidable journey, very aggressive in the manner of Gojira ('Introspection' and 'Doomsday Befalls')... Fans will be stunned by the monstrous finale of 'Disembody' and especially the monumental 'Under my Skin', with its crazy breaks and hypnotic final instrumental riff...
After the highly successful 'Duplicate', 'High Blood Pressure' takes things up a notch with its creative music, constant changes of pace and breaks. We can only urge readers to rediscover this band via its earliest albums and enjoy another Klone in its most extreme guise. - Official website
