"Dreamtide proposes with "Drama Dust Dream" an album of melodic hard rock where progressive tendencies and a phenomenal lead guitar enrich the usual melodic impact of the genre."

"Dream And Deliver", Dreamtide's previous album, dates from 2008. During these fourteen years of silence, Helge Engelke, its creator, had the time to release three opuses with Fair Warning, his original band. The fans of beautiful guitars had incensed this escapade within his side-project and were waiting for the arrival of the fourth effort of the Germans. They are rewarded for their patience, "Drama Dust Dream" arrives today in the stores.
Engelke likes to say that he enjoys taking his time, that he doesn't intend to put any pressure on himself and that working in serenity allowed him to record the most unusual work he has ever composed. It is true that we are here very far from the what we are accustomed to in the melodic hard rock. Thanks to its structure, and because of the particularly sustained presence of the lead guitar, the music of Dreamtide appears more worked than what the genre usually proposes.
Compositions to hundred leagues of the stereotyped constructions verse/chorus, varied atmospheres, density of the pieces, all that is not so far from the concepts attached to the small world of the progressive rock. The production is exemplary, clear and precise, it honors the remarkable technique of the musicians and reinforces the purity of the melodic lines which abound in this opus.
Discovering the richness of Dreamtide's compositions is an amazing experience and highly recommended for any hard rock fan. Indeed, he will find again the beloved riffs (the inward-flowing 'All Of Us'), the rhythmic celerity (the very angry 'Stop Being Deep') and the instrumental exercise with the classic guitar ('Ni Agua Ni Dos' which reminds Triumph). It will not be either orphan of the carrying anthems ('Around' particularly), nor of the obligatory ballad ('Dawn').
So, without hesitating for a moment, you have to be curious and go through this "Drama Dust Dream" which will only catch those who have made the melody that intoxicates and the guitar their interests. Just as remarkable as its big brother, this Dreamtide is a new success for this extraordinary six-string player that is Mr. Engelke. - Official website
