With "Will To Power", Arch Enemy from Sweden stepped out of their comfort zone and took an artistic step forward. The band showed itself to be more accessible. A giant tour ensued, which ended before the pandemic began. Then the band went quiet for more than two years.

The comeback has been cleverly orchestrated since the end of 2021 with the release of two singles. These appetizers allowed to wait before discovering 'Deceveirs'. Already well known by the fans, 'Deceiver, Deceiver' and 'House Of Mirrors' are typical of the Arch Enemy style and have everything of future classics in the form of a melodic death with ruffling riffs and soli, effective choruses and the growl of an Alyssa in great shape who screams with a formidable energy.

Afterwards, the band shows a varied face and confirms its desire not to stick to a formula. 'Handshake With Hell' surprises by the strong proportion of clear vocals. Alyssa excels in the genre and delivers a catchy and powerful track with beautiful soli. We find the same melodic side on 'Poisoned Arrow', with a melodic heavy metal close to Kamelot, and 'Exile From Earth' in the Amon Amarth style with an epic chorus that makes you want to raise your fist, only the growl linking the tracks to death metal.

Arch Enemy shows a more asserted death side on 'The Watcher' and 'Sunset Over The Empire' with a fast tone and a machine-gun drumming, Alyssa's growl is more violent and the rhythm is fast in a classic death metal aspect. With 'In The Eye Of The Storm' and 'One Last Time', he joins the spirit of the first singles with a melodic death metal full of very good soli and very effective direct choruses.

With "Deceivers", Arch Enemy confirms its recent achievements and shows a face both powerful and seductive. In spite of the time that passes, the band raises the bar even higher and we can only salute this exploit.

PROGRESSIVE METAL - With "The Testament", Seventh Wonder is not far from having found the perfect balance between technique and melody, while remaining faithful to the progressive power metal that characterizes him.
SEREMONIA: Neonlusifer (2022)
DOOM - Without losing its inimitable style, Seremonia cultivates in this "Neonlusifer" its darkest and most abrupt features.
