"With its contrasting modern metal that draws from the djent and the atmospheric, "Elements" is a true confirmation of Duality's potential."

Over the past two years, the French band Duality have been composing music with a logic of releasing singles without any precise idea of an album. In spite of this, five tracks proved to be so cohesive that the band decided to release them on a second EP entitled "Elements".
What this record reveals is that in two years Duality has kept its musical assets and has progressed in sound rendering. This last point is proof of a professional work: the production is excellent on "Elements". In the composition, Duality refines its preferences for ambient contrasts without ever letting itself be tempted by excessive technicality, so you won't find any ostentatious virtuosity.
There is a common fibre between Tesseract, Textures and Duality in their taste for incandescent riffs rocked by djent metrics and more atmospheric tracks. "Elements" is the expression of a confident band, capable of titillating metalcore as well as injecting more pop choruses. Duality is also a writer with serious and existential concepts. The band tackles a multitude of subjects that release passions and feelings and whose alternating clear vocals and growls cleverly embody excesses.
"Elements" is a real confirmation of the band's potential that we can savour without moderation while waiting for an album that we hope will take us even further in its universe. - Official website
