In these times troubled by the Covid-19 virus (which yours truly fought against), the launch of a participatory campaign by a site like Music Waves might seem strange. Indeed, one would be tempted to say that it's not the right time with the economy in slow motion and concerns far more important than those of a webzine, however good it may be. On the other hand, the site has never been so dynamic and connections have simply exploded in the last three months.
In fact, launching this participatory campaign was just a logical sequence. As the increase in visits to Music Waves started in the middle of last year, the idea of taking the site to something really new came up at the end of 2019. As the personal situation permitted, it was the right time to get started. The time to mature the project, to prepare the communication and to ask ourselves a thousand and one existential questions and here we are in May.
