Galahad, formed in 1985, are an English progressive rock band with a prolific discography that includes 12 studio albums, 6 live albums and 3 rarities collections. Although never signed to a major label, the band has sold tens of thousands of albums and gained international recognition. They have played alongside big-name acts such as Pendragon, IQ and Twelfth Night at festivals across Europe and North America. All that remains of the original line-up is Stuart Nicholson (vocals).
Galahad's debut album, 'Nothing Is Written', was released in 1991 and marked the beginning of their discography. The album showcased the band's ability to create complex, atmospheric music, setting the tone for their subsequent releases. Over the years, Galahad have released a series of well-received albums, including 'In a Moment of Complete Madness' (1993), 'Sleepers' (1995) and 'Following Ghosts' (1998).
One of the defining moments for Galahad was the release of 'Empires Never Last' in 2007, a concept album acclaimed by critics for its ambitious narrative and musical complexity. The band then continued to refine their style throughout their career with albums such as 'Battle Scars' (2012) and 'Beyond the Realms of Euphoria' (2012), cementing their reputation.
In 2020, Galahad re-released 'Sleepers' on vinyl and presented a new album, 'When the Battle Is Over', as part of the Galahad Electric Company. Following the confinement, they offered a collection of old tracks and then two new albums in two years, "The Last Great Adventurer" followed by "The Long Goodbye" in 2023.

DID YOU KNOW?
The name of the group, Galahad, has nothing to do with the legend of the Round Table, but comes from Roy Keyworth, who worked for a fruit and vegetable retailer. He called his produce Galahad. Finding the name attractive, he made it his own.
