Revolution Saints is an American hard rock band formed in 2014 by Frontiers Records label president Serafino Perugino. The project was born out of the desire to create a band around the vocal talent of Deen Castronovo, former drummer and singer of Journey.
The first line-up included Castronovo on drums and vocals, Doug Aldrich (ex-Whitesnake, Dio) on guitar and Jack Blades (Night Ranger) on bass and vocals. They released their self-titled debut album in 2015, which received a positive reception from critics and fans alike.
The band followed this up with two more albums: "Light in the Dark" in 2017 and "Rise" in 2018. They confirmed their status as a major new melodic hard rock band, touring the world and performing concerts that were hailed for their energy and talent.
In 2022, the band underwent a number of line-up changes. Aldrich and Blades left Revolution Saints to pursue other projects. They were replaced by Joel Hoekstra (ex-Whitesnake) on guitar and Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, Dokken) on bass and vocals.
On 10 February 2023, Revolution Saints released their fourth studio album, "Eagle Flight". It was a return to the band's roots, with a heavier, more direct sound and darker, more melancholy atmospheres. Hoekstra and Pilson brought a new energy and a new dimension to the album. "Against The Winds" came out a year later, a little less successful than its predecessor but still just as inspired by Journey, with the same team at the helm.
